Vanda Ștefănescu

Born in Bucharest, Ro., Vanda Ștefănescu developed her choreographic skills since a very young age, presented her first choreography at the age of 16 and has since become a passionate choreographer. Her stile is a combination of classical ballet elements fused with contemporary dance style movements. Her choreographies are always rich in strong and emotional subjects.

 

Vanda has developed numerous choreographies presented at the National Opera Bucharest, National Theater Bucharest, National Operetta and Mussical Theater “Ion Dacian”, Odeon Theater, Jewish State Theater, Filarmonica Oltenia from Craiova, Filarmonica Paul Constantinescu from Ploiesti and National Opera Timisoara.

 

She has developed creations for Maia Morgernstern, Răzvan Mazilu, numerous ballet dancers from Romania and abroad, as for musicians, various artists and theater directors from Romania and abroad.

 

 

 

 

As a dancer

Vanda Ștefănescu completed her training as a dancer at Floria Capsali Choreographic Highschool Bucharest and UNATC Bucharest.

 

Over time she had acquired experience in television shows like „X Factor“ (Antena 1), „SPLASH Celebrities Under Water“ (Antena 1), „Romania Dance“ (Antena 1), etc.

 

For years she had traveled and worked with Vortice Dance Company (Portugal) and Stadttheater Giessen (Germany) and with personalities in choreography and film like Răzvan Mazilu, Gigi Căciuleanu, Massimo Gerardi, Nae Caranfil, Rosa Olimpia Estrella, Mario Radacovsky, Akos Tihanyi, Attila Beres, Tarek Assam

, David Williams, Tyce Diorio, Milan Gromilic.
